gefällt mir um einiges besser als das Debutalbum

Kann ich nicht behaupten. Aber gut finde ich diese Scheibe dennoch, mit "Two beds and a coffee machine" ist sogar eine unbekannte Perle mit drauf. Daneben einige gute Songs und nicht nur süsse Balladen. Wegen des fehlenden Singlehits leider unterschätzt.

Die Tracks 1-3-5-7-9 vermachen dem Album knapp 4 Sterne.

Das 2. Album von der australischen Gruppe Savage Garden hat einige tolle Songs vorzuweisen. Für schönen Pop-Sound mit anhaltendem Erfolg sind Darren Hayes und Daniel Jones zuständig gewesen. Schade, dass sie sich kurz danach getrennt haben.

Starkes Album

Das zweite (und leider bereits das letzte) Savage Garden-Album. Rund 10 Jahre ists her. Songs wie "Affirmation" und "I Knew I Love You" gehören auch heute noch ganz zu Recht zu Radiostandards.

Un álbum pop exquisito.

Für mich auf keinen Fall so stark wie das besagte Debütalbum. So richtig will da kaum ein Lied herausragen. "I Knew I Loved You" war mir auch etwas zu sämig. Solide Kost alles in allem, aber im Vergleich zu den Knaller-Singles aus dem Debüt schon eine Enttäuschung.

Fantastic Album. Savage Garden are one of the best Australian artists out there.

I much prefered this album to the first as I simply like more tracks from it. Best songs for me are Crash and Burn, Affirmation and Two Beds and A Coffee Machine which i think would have made a great single.

A solid album that is easily more interesting then their 1st. Best tracks on this are Affirmation, Hold Me, Best Thing, Crash And Burn, You Can Still Be Free, Gunning Down Romance, I Don't You Anymore and my favourite track of theirs The Animal Song. Overall score. 4.5 - 5.

I enjoyed their first album more but this is great.

When Savage Garden first came out, I was obsessed with them, I loved all of their singles and used to listen to their album over and over again. Somewhere between 1997 and 1999 I lost my love for them, and when this came out, I don't remember enjoying any of the singles at all. It's good to listen to it now and see what I was missing, these are good songs, with enjoyable production and fabulous vocals. The singles, for me, were not as strong as those from the first album, but the album tracks hold it up, with a good mixture of upbeat numbers with slow, emotional ballads. A very good listen from start to finish. 4.7/6.
