Enthalten auf dem Soundtrack zu FIFA 15 - Avicii liefert einmal mehr die bekannten Ware für den amerikanischen Markt - statt dem Bruder wird jetzt der Vater zitiert ... Tanzmusik für den Square Dance.

Toujours ce côté fédérateur qui ne sait me laisser indifférent. C'est seulement dommage que le drop musical manque autant d'ambition.

Weer typische Avicii-sound maar opnieuw maakt hij er iets bijzonders van. Goede boodschap ook zo met dat gezamenlijk gezongen refreintje.

Timber Pt II...

Very disappointed by the two songs from this EP and I'm glad I'm not the only one who hasn't taken a shine to these Post-True songs. Please move onto some new ideas now. This isn't bad though and the breakdown is cool.

I've known about this for a while but never bothered to listen to it until it showed up on the iTunes chart yesterday. I guess the positive is that I haven't been missing out on much by not having listened to it. My major problem with this is that it sounds too much like the Wake Me Up / Hey Brother sound and subsquently sounds like a discarded track from "True". I don't want to be annoying and instantly hate anything with that sound with rationality not being considered but it kind of rubs me the wrong way like both of the aforementioned tracks do.

The vocals here are better than those two tracks but still aren't enjoyable honestly. I guess I can get into the beat and the breakdown is actually pretty great, but the vocals as well as the "heys" and the "Hey Brother" vibe I get from it is just too icky. The best thing about "Stories" is that it looks like the folk-dance and country-dance sound is being discarded for something else, because it's really my least favourite thing about Avicii and one of my least favourite things from the past few years in general. I'll be nice and give it a 3* though, as it's at least avoidable.

Nope, f**k this piece of shit honestly. The only thing saving this from 1* is a surprisingly great breakdown, because otherwise it's just so unenjoyable for me. A disgusting repackaging of the vile "Hey Brother".

Didn't really like the progression of this as much as I liked to so it's average for an Avicii song.

Finde ich nicht besonders überzeugend. Avicii-Standardware ohne Überraschungswert, die noch nicht einmal besonders gut und hitverdächtig produziert wurde. Geht doch arg in Richtung Einheitsbrei.

Möglichwerweise etwas vom schlechtesten, was ich bisher von Avicii kenne!!

Kijk, dit vind ik al heel wat lekkerder en beter dan 'The Days', al mag Avicii wel wat origineler zijn in zijn titelkeuzes...

Jetzt steckt in seinem Country-Dance-Aufguss schon die Routine drin. Man weiß jetzt zu genau, wie vorherige ähnliche Song Avicii's geklungen haben u. das schmälert sehr den Frische-Kickeffekt.

Doch "The Nights" ist schon ein cooler Song geworden. Diverse Elemente im Sound treiben ihn in die Ohren.

Dennoch sollte Avicii wieder 1-2 Schritte zurück machen u. uns das präsentieren, was er beispielsweise mit dem coolen Song "I Could Be The One" zelebrierte. Country-Dance ist schon wieder ziemlich abgegriffen...

Encore plus transparent que "The Days".

Wieder so eine Hippy-Happy-Dancy-Sofarumhüpf-Nummer. Vielleicht besoffen in der Silvester-Nacht...

Die Drops sind auch eher alt, bei allem Anderem habe ich nichts zu bekritteln.

super gut von Avicii der song ist genau so gut wie Hey Brother na ja aber der Sound ist echt spitze

A bit underwhelming for an Avicii song, but still enjoyable enough.

EDIT: I've been meaning to edit this for around 6 weeks now, but never seemed to have done so for some reason.

Anyway, I actively enjoy this now, but he does have better.

Though technically a 2014 song, I only heard the song very late in the year and it reached peak popularity in 2015, so, if it can beat out other songs, it will make my 2015 EOY best-of list.

Es ist halt immer das Gleiche, da wird es einfach irgendwann langweilig.

Avicii trifft auf Musik, die ich im Irish Pub nach ein paar Guiness mitgröhlen würde. Weiß nicht so recht, ob ich das cool finden soll oder nicht.

Ik had niet verwacht dat avicii jog verder kon afdalen maar dit is weer een nieuw dieptepunt. Wat een saaie plaat.

Ik vind dit écht terug een steengoed nummer van de Zweedse: "Avicii", wat wellicht terug een hit wordt in 2015!!! Oké, dat de originaliteit van de titels wat zoek is, daar zijn we het over eens, maar het sfeertje er rond, echt knap!!! Ik ga voor 5 sterren!!! ☺

Besser als "The Days"

Nachdem "The Days" nicht zum Hit mutierte, den er wohl selbst erwartet hatte, kehrt er mit "The Nights" wieder zum alten Muster zurück. Guter Dance/Country-Mash-Up, mit guter Airplay-Unterstützung wird das ein sicherer Hit... gut auch, das der 'Break' etwas anders als bei seinen anderen Songs ist... 4+*

Diese Dance Nummer finde ich garnicht so schlecht.

Crappy. Boring and nothing new at all. This would have been better if released in 2012, before the mega success of his last album. The verses are yuck and the vocalist is dire. Was gonna give it a 2 but I'm listening to it right now and there's nothing redeemable here for me.

Also mir gefällts enorm, ein richtiger Club Kracher :) Die Vocals sind super und auch die Produktion holt mich total ab. Kann da ohne Bedenken 6* geben :)

Und noch einer der vielen Avicii-Songs, den ich beim Chartrun nicht ganz mitgekriegt hatte. Erinnert auch mich etwas an "Timber", flottes Dance-Teil mit Western-Einflüssen, einer seiner besseren Songs, knapp keine 5.

Diesen Sound nach dem Refrain assoziiere ich immer mit Fußball, ansonsten ist das Lied okay, aber nichts wirklich außergewöhnliches...

Trotzdem: One day, you'll leave this world behind, so live a life you will remember! Bei ihm ist es leider schon passiert, aber ich werde auf ihn hören!

Tanzbar und nett. Der Beat ist nicht zu aggressiv und man bekommt auch andere Einflüsse. Hör ich mir gerne mal an zwischendurch.

geht gut nach vorn, hat aber auch was locker-leichtes. guter sound. nichts was ich jetzt ständig hören würde, mal mal zwischendurch gern.

Redelijke danceplaat welke veel overkomsten toont metde nr1 hit "Timber"maar stuk minder sterk is.
