Cathy appeared on Mike Warren's "Connecticut Bandstand Show" on WNHC-TV to promote this record. She was also a judge of a Twist contest held at Hartford Armory in East Hartford. Winners were given autographed singles of this record.
This song became a hit for Cliff Richard. I have read that Cathy's was the original, but wasn't released until the movie was already out.
Did not chart nationally, but it did chart locally in Springfield, Massachusetts and San Francisco, California in March 1962.
