The Jezabels have always been a group who I've enjoyed to a reasonable extent, but never taken to greatly, and this solo effort from Hayley quickly eclipsed anything she's released with the group. The chorus is immensely catchy and so very enjoyable, and when it expands even longer for its second and third appearances, it's just fantastic. Hayley's voice is wonderful, with a perfect mix of attitude and vulnerability to match the lyrics. I'm reminded of Chrissy Amphlett at times, which can only be a good thing. I'm very impressed with this song.
