Geschossen wird hier teils mit Elektronic, teils mit Early 80s U2 Gitarren - vor allem im Chorus - ansonsten eher ein harmloser Radio-Song.

Wow! This is fantastic and quite a return to form. The verses are amazing, but a huge pity that the chorus is a bit weak, but I'm not minding that too much at the moment. Excellent production at the start, I love that bit especially.

Solide Nummer von Imagine Dragons.
Weiss zu gefallen, aber ist nichts spezielles...schon zu oft gehört solche Tracks.
Finde es etwas übertrieben, dass ein solcher Track die #1 der itunes in den USA ist...

Gefällt mir deutlich weniger als "Gold", aber eine gewisse Eingängikeit mach sich hier breit und so könnte ich mir "Shots" auch als richtige Single und nicht nur als Promo-Release vorstellen... 4*

▒ Een geweldige track uit de herfst van 2014 (studio opname) door de Amerikaanse rock formatie: "Imagine Dragons" !!! Voorloper van hun, op 17 februari 2015, te verschijnen tweede studioalbum: "Smoke + Mirrors" !!! Ligt tegen de 6 sterren aan hoor ☺!!!

Alweer een nummer van deze Imagine Dragons waar ik weinig op aan te merken heb.

This is really really really good, their best single/song on early impressions since OTOTW. The St. Lucia vibes really help me get into this!

wow no, the production of the second half of the first verse is amazing and allows the rest of the track to ride off that. Huge return to form after the relative mediocrity of Warriors, Battle Cry and I Bet My Life.

I'm going to be bold and say this is their best song ever. Absolutely right up my alley and it's going to age much better than any of their other tracks judging on how the likes of Midnight City and Elevate have aged for me.

At least it's not an LMFAO cover :P

Anyway, I liked this.

Start: schlechtes Omen
Strophen: übergalaktisch Top
Refrain: nicht erwähnenswert
Bridge: sehr solide
Ende: auslaufend langweilig

Trotzdem, die Strophen sind nicht normal! 6*

Also die Strophen treffen ja mal richtig meinen Geschmack mit den fesselnden Synthies. Im Gegensatz zu "I Bet My Life" gefällt mir hier aber auch der Refrain recht gut, sodass ich für "Shots" zu einer 5 greifen kann.

Cool. Die gasten weten zich keer op keer te vernieuwen.

Ich mag ja eigentlich ihren härteren Sound etwas lieber, vor allem in "Battle Cry" haben sie mich sehr positiv überrascht. Der Titel ist zwar sehr offensichtlich auf Hit getrimmt, aber auch einfach richtig stark produziert. Schade nur, dass die Range von Dan Reynolds Stimme hier so gar nicht zur Geltung kommt.

I really like this. Take a while to get into but it has a very nice sound.

Ich find´s auch schwer zu bewerten! Weil schlecht ist es nicht, aber richtig gut find ich´s auch nicht. Da tut sich einfach nichts bei mir, daher hab ich hier auch nicht mehr zu sagen!

Hammer! Gerade das erste Mal gehört und es überrollte mich sofort! Sehr geiler Synthi-Sound, könnte ne interne No. 1 bei mir werden. Ein bisschen Scissor Sisters meets U2... klasse!
