Die Verwurstung alter Hits - also der Cover-Wahnsinn im Hip-Hop - geht weiter - neueste Quellen : STEAM bzw. BANANARAMA's - NA NA HEY HEY KISS HIM GOODBYE - doch diesmal gefällt mir's etwas besser - GaGa steuert süße Vocals bei, das Sample kennt jeder Fußball-Fan, der Rap natürlich begrenzt erwähnenswert.

Nachdem "Wale" zu Daniel Merriweathers Sommerhit "Change" rappte, will er es nun selbst wissen.

Mithilfe von der derzeitigen Popkönigin Lady GaGa, die sich vermutlich hochgeschlafen hatte u. mit "The Fame" nun Welterfolge feiert, versucht er nun die Dancefloors u. Hitlisten für sich zu gewinnen.

Könnte klappen auch wenn das hier nur ein recht durchschnittlicher Song.

Für mich sind das 2 Lieder, wobei ich "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye" viel lieber mag als den Rest.

Wale klingt wie jeder andere Rapper auch. Vermasselt's.

Lady Gaga macht mit ihrem Part einiges wieder wett.

Die Rap-Einlagen sind nicht mal so schlecht, ansonsten ist es durchschnittlicher und austauschbarer Elektro-Sound! Knapp keine 4.

Dat Lady Gaga daaraan meewerkt begrijp ik niet. Niet wat we van haar gewend zijn. Een ongeloofelijk drukke plaat van dit duo! Ik ga dit nummertje alleszinds niet kopen!! Voor mij eerder een flop dan echte topmuziek!! Neen, bij 3 sterren is de kous hélemaal af!

I think I like this now actually. It does seem strange in hindsight to see Wale have a top 50 hit here, though of course it wasn't much on his merit I'm sure. I do laugh at how he acknowledges people pronouncing his name incorrectly, as I remember Video Hits doing exactly that back in the day, it justifies him saying it that many times! :P

Oh no, Lady GaGa should not have been a featured artist in this song, especially a hip hop/rap song like this piece of junk!

This was actually somewhat decent, but I'll take it down to a 3 because it hasn't aged well and isn't memorable at all.

Pretty average, didn't really do anything for me tbh. I like the chorus though, it's nice to hear GaGa like this, although she sounds a bit like M.I.A. in her vocal delivery.

Gaga is good and the production is sorta cool but Wale is somewhat uninteresting and drags the song down.

Für beide Parteien eher mittelmässig. Die Raps von Wale sind irgendwie nicht so das wahre und Gagas Gesang tönt sehr monoton.. Naja, immerhin ist das Video dazu noch geil. Gibt gute 4*

This sucks.

Letztendlich ist Musikgeschmack nur eine Sache der Hörgewohnheiten. Ich habe mich lange genug moderner Musik komplett verschlossen - da gingen ganze Jahrzehnte drauf.

Das dieses Ding für mich durchgeht, hat wohl auch vor allem damit zu tun, daß die Aufmachung des Tracks und auch Stefani hier wie M.I.A. klingt. Und an die habe ich mich bereits gewöhnt ;)

Für meine Begriffe ziemlich schwach auf der Brust für einen Pop-Rap. Da rettet auch die Lady den Gesamteindruck nicht hin zum Positiven.
